| Wow! This semester has just been really great! God is so good! Here are my random thoughts:
I really love my classes this semester, and it finally hit me last week that I'm going to graduate this May, never to come back to an undergraduate class or the undergraduate life. :( The lesson that I learned was: take advantage of every opportunity. Also, realize that you were created to bring God pleasure, and the even better news is, He is most glorified when we are most satisfied in Him! He wants us to have a GREAT life! I sure am living it up!
A couple weeks ago, my church went on a spring retreat and boy was the scenery beautiful! Sometimes when I look at nature, I wonder how people can NOT believe in the God who created the universe. I also think about how beautiful this earth must have been when God first created it - no cars, no pollution. Just ALL beauty of nature. Sigh...
I saw the "Passion" on opening night and couldn't stop crying. One thing that made me cry was the fact that God had to watch his Son go through all that, yet people still rejected him. People still reject him today. Some people even claim that God doesn't exist! How would you like to create something with all of your heart, and then see your creation turn around and tell people you don't exist and that your creation was by chance!? Sad...
Well, sorry xanga world that I can't update every often. I need inspiration to update, but that doesn't happen for months sometimes... I guess the best I can do is make my rounds of commenting. :) See you soon! And thank you, God! :)
| My winter vacation in Houston was mighty fun! I spent a lot of time hangin' out with friends and going out almost every day! Unfortunately most of my friends had to work during the day, but fortunately, I spent my mornings and afternoons spending time alone with God, talking to Him and letting him know how I'm feeling. It's really hard to do that back at school because everything is so busy up north. Sometimes you just need to get away and think.
Houston weather was so great these past couple weeks! High 70's, lows in the 50's. Ahhhh... what a dream. But now that I'm back in sub-zero temperatures, I guess it's back to normal life and no more vacation. i'll try to make the best of this semester, I promise! kickic...
| Yay! I'm finally in Houston! I love this city! The weather is like fall weather, because it never really gets that cold!
As many of you know, me and Scott broke up, but I really think it's for the best. We had a great time getting to know each other, and as time passed on, I think we realized that we just weren't meant for each other. I trust God that He will give me the comfort that I need in this time of confusion and sadness.
Does anyone have any advice? My friend told me to eat ice cream and everything would be better. Is that true?
